Rain City Soccer Club Committees

Communication & Membership Committee: this committee will work on maintaining and improving the Rain City website (more on that soon), club-wide emails, Facebook and social networking, marketing of the club and events, RCSC merchandise and club photos, archives and history. communications at raincitysoccer dot org 

Fundraising & Sponsorship Committee: this committee will work on coordinating revenue sources for the club and facilitate similar activities at the team level, including Rain City Calendar, bar sponsorships, fundraising for tournaments (e.g., IGLFA, Gay Games).  sponsorship at raincitysoccer dot org 

Social, Service & Community Outreach Committee: this committee will work on Rain City social events to connect the club as a whole (parties, happy hours, Sounders games, Gay Skate, etc.), community service events (AIDS Walk, Gay Bingo, Lambert House volunteering), visibility within the gay community and soccer community, club relationships with our counterparts in Portland, OR and Vancouver, BC.  social at raincitysoccer dot org 

Team/Player Committee: this committee will work on programs for beginners, on-going training/clinics for intermediate and advanced players, integration of new players onto club teams or into beginner programs, team manager development and training, and coaching.  TPC at raincitysoccer dot org

RCSC Committees are comprised of both board members and club members.  If you would like to volunteer on a particular committee, please contact the committee chair at the addresses indicated above.
